Donald “Donny” Lovelace has over 25 years of experience in healthcare finance which includes experience in urgent care, hospitals, behavioral health, and hospice. Donny’s experience in these various healthcare settings has given him a broad view of the healthcare industry as a whole and an understanding of how providers can work together to serve patients in their communities.
Prior to joining Urgent Care Group, Donny spent the previous four years working in healthcare mergers and acquisitions (M&A) consulting where he advised healthcare organizations on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Previously, Donny served as the CFO for a national behavioral health provider where he provided support to behavioral health sites across multiple states. Donny also served as a hospital CFO for a national hospital operator where he was the CFO for hospitals in Illinois and Indiana. Earlier in his career, Donny was the SVP of Finance for a national hospice provider and Controller for a national long-term acute care hospital system. Donny began his career in the audit practice of a Big 4 firm.
Donny holds a BS in Accounting from the University of South Carolina, an MBA from Auburn University, and is recognized as a Distinguished Leader by the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Donny is a licensed CPA in Tennessee and is a member of the AICPA and the Nashville Healthcare Council.
