Dr. Troy Dinkel has dedicated his career to fundamentally improving the delivery of acute health care such that it consistently achieves high quality, patient satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. He served as the President and Chief Medical Officer of Urgent Care Group, where he was responsible for physician and APP quality and practice standards, clinical oversight and training, process improvement for all clinical operations, and regulatory compliance. Dr. Dinkel has transitioned to an advisory role at UCG where he uses his decades of healthcare experience and medical expertise to strategize growth and optimize clinical operations.
In Dr. Dinkel’s previous role, he served as Chief Product Officer at Inovalon where he was responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation, service delivery, performance, and reporting of all developed products and solutions.
Prior to joining Inovalon, Dr. Dinkel served as Chief Operations Officer, leading a key role in the development and expansion of Lafayette Emergency Care (LEC) and Monticello Emergency Care (MEC), providers of acute care and radiological services for hospital systems within Indiana. At LEC and MEC, Dr. Dinkel was responsible for all operations as well as a wide array of corporate initiatives encompassing provider management, government audit and appeal programs, strategic partnerships, corporate strategic growth programs, and efficiency improvement programs.
Before this, Dr. Dinkel served as Chief Medical Officer at Great Lakes Naval Hospital Emergency Department and as Assistant Department Head at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan, where he was responsible for acute care operations and resources.
Dr. Dinkel is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Dinkel is board certified in emergency medicine.
