Chief Financial Officer
Mike is a proven executive leader with more than twenty years of healthcare executive management experience in finance and mergers and acquisitions of successful high growth organizations.
Most recently, Mike served as Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions for SpecialtyCare where he was responsible for acquisitions and transaction oversight, including identification of target companies, transaction structure, financial/legal diligence, and closing document negotiation. As Vice President, Physician Services, Mike also managed the physician practice responsible for providing remote monitoring telemedicine services for surgical cases utilizing intraoperative neurological monitoring (IONM).
Mike’s healthcare experience includes co-founding and serving as Vice President, Development for Ambulatory Services of America (ASA), a multi-site, multi-service healthcare company. Prior to ASA, Mike served in various leadership roles at Renal Care Group (NYSE: RCG) including Regional and later Group CFO in charge of the financial operations team responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, operations support, acquisition analysis, and integration and revenue management. Mike also served as Vice President of Managed Care where he was responsible for the company’s payor strategy, planning, pricing, and contracting.
Mike also served as Controller, J. Alexander’s Corporation, a casual dining restaurant group, Manager, Internal Audit, CUC International, Inc. (NYSE: CU), and in public accounting.
He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from David Lipscomb College (now University) and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
